This lot is a significant collection of Jersey "Parish Arms" and "Family Crest" postage stamp booklets from the late 1970s and early 1980s. These are highly collectible regional items that were issued by Jersey Post to showcase the island's unique heraldic history.

• Contents: "Complete collection of 7 different booklets including St. Helier, Grouville, St. Saviour, and more."

Philatelic Insight

These were some of the first booklets issued by Jersey Post after it became independent from the UK's Royal Mail in 1969. The St. Helier booklet (red) is particularly iconic, as St. Helier is the capital of Jersey. The Messervy and Malet booklets represent "Prestige" values from the series, containing larger blocks of stamps that are very useful for collectors filling out album pages.
