Philatelic Insight

The Huguenot Cross shown on the right side of the cover is a beautiful symbol of the faith. The dove hanging from the cross represents the Holy Spirit. Jersey has a very deep connection to this history, as the island served as a primary sanctuary for French Protestants fleeing persecution. This booklet is as much a historical document as it is a stamp collection.
