Visible Highlights in This Lot

• Hildegard von Bingen (Center & Right): You have two different versions of stamps dedicated to this famous medieval figure. She is a "cross-over" collectible for people who collect stamps about religion, women, and classical music.

• Europa CEPT (Bottom Left): The "20" and "40" pfennig stamps with the keyhole/shield designs are from the early 1960s. These are staples of any "United Europe" collection and are much more desirable than standard domestic stamps.

• The "Wheel" (Top Center): This is a 100 pfennig commemorative for the composer Carl Orff (Carmina Burana). Musical themed stamps are very easy to sell to specialists.

• Clear "Remagen" Postmark: The stamp in the dead center has a beautiful, complete circular postmark from Remagen. Collectors love finding "full town" cancels because they tell a specific story of the stamp's journey.
